Empowerment of Women (EOW)

New Mauricette: Empowerment of Women Project

The Empowerment of Women (EOW) project, initiated by the New Mauricette Generation Foundation, offers vocational training to disadvantaged women in the Indian village of Kishanpur. With a modest initial investment of 2,000 euros, this program funds equipment and compensates trainers, enabling participants to develop their skills, gain economic autonomy, and sustainably improve their living conditions.

Kishanpur village, located in northeastern India.

Garment making, crafts, henna tattoos, and textile and bag printing.

Economic autonomy, increased self-confidence, and a significant improvement in the living conditions of participating women.

To provide disadvantaged women with comprehensive vocational training to acquire practical skills and access employment.

Each year, 16 women divided into 4 groups will take part in an intensive three-month training program led by two qualified instructors.
